In order to BUY alcoholic you must be 16. Trust, me 16, not 18!
They're discussing just now if bringing the age up to 18, and also in province of Bolzano somebody asked to do that, a few weeks ago, but the reply was local administration can not do that, it is up to Italian Government.
So, now it is still 16. Even if apparently a lot of Italian residents seem not to be aware of that.
There is anyway no age limitation about DRINKING.

I think it is like 15 or 16.
